Caregiver Classes

Three Levels of care training are offered to students 18 years old & older:

Supervisory care, Personal care, and Directed care. All three, equal 62 total clock course hours.

Managers Classes

Prerequisites: Caregiver Training Certificate, 2,080 hours or 1 yr. experienced and 21 years of age & older.
With the Caregiver Certificate in-hand, students may apply their skills by acting as a manager of an assisted living facility under direct supervision. Students learn daily operation, assessing and resident admission,medication administration, developing resident plans, business practices: budgeting, marketing, record keeping & regulatory compliance. Also, how to develop policies and procedures in line with laws and regulations governing assisted living facilities.
